Jasper Animal Hospital is a privately owned small-animal hospital with a great community reputation. We pride ourselves on giving excellent medical care while still having that "small-town" feel. We are looking for a full-time associate to add to our team of four full-time doctors and two part-time doctors. This rare wonderful opportunity is coming about because of healthy growth and an unexpected doctor medical leave.
Our associate vets provide outstanding medical care for companion animals. We see primarily dogs and cats, but do also see pocket pets. Birds and reptiles are welcome although not seen commonly. We have a surgical suite, on-site laboratory for in-house CBC, chemistry, T4, urinalysis and fecal analysis, on-site pharmacy, digital radiology suite and digital dental radiology unit. We have an in-house ultrasound unit as well. We also partner with several excellent specialty doctors who regularly come in and do on-site ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and orthopedic and specialty surgeries.

Doctors enjoy a four day work week with a Saturday rotation, typically once a month with a flex day off during the week to compensate. After-hours emergencies are handled by several competent 24-hour ER clinics in the area.

Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on experience and set on an annual rate. We offer insurance for medical, vision and dental, 401k matching, CE allowance, PLIT/Licensing fees, and discounted pet care. We also offer paid time off.
