Typically our Veterinarians have a hybrid role of ER/Urgent Care and GP but we can be flexible depending on your primary interest!  Interested and experienced in management? We are currently offering an extremely competitive compensation package including a $20,000 sign-on/retention bonus for the ER/GP DVM and an additional $10,000 sign-on bonus for the Medical Director!

Wachusett Animal Hospital and Pet Retreat is a state of the art, full service hybrid hospital, consisting of general practice and a 7 day a week, fully functioning emergency and urgent care center. Our 9,000 square foot hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, endoscopy, cautery (including a LigaSure!), anesthesia ventilator, isolation ward, and two surgical suites. Our ideal candidate has good communication skills, teamwork mentality, is able to work in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of client education.

Our perfect candidate for the Medical Director would enjoy problem solving, and feel confident with independent decision making.  The Medical Director will ensure medical standards and quality of care, while working with other DVMs to institute medical protocols.  Effective and compassionate communication with clients and staff is an essential skill.  This position is 90% clinical and 10% administrative and also pays and additional stipend!
