The CVP Student Colleague Program serves as the initial steppingstone toward a successful and fulfilling career. The 8-week Student Colleague Program offers students from any year in veterinary school the chance to gain real-world experience as a practicing doctor, while engaging in hands-on activities and refining their communication skills. Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to observe the workflow and practice in a clinical setting.
Our program connects students with hospitals that align with areas of interest, geographic preferences, or even potential future employment prospects. Not only does the Student Colleague Program equip students with essential practical skills, but it also fosters valuable connections. These connections may prove instrumental, as CVP hospitals may consider offering employment opportunities to students, even those in the early stages of their education.

When veterinary teams are equipped with the tools they need to thrive, pets thrive too. This is the foundation of CVP—a community dedicated to providing extraordinary care for all its members, regardless of the number of legs or wings they may have.
CVP's mission is to bring joy to families by providing the best care possible for the pets they love. We know that when veterinary professionals have what they need to thrive, pets thrive too. That’s what CVP is all about: building a community that provides extraordinary care for all its members, no matter how many legs (or wings) they may have. CVP knows what's important to people and making sure they have what they need so they can focus on delivering great care is our priority. At the end of the day, we’re more than just pet people. We’re pet people people. More information is available at www.cvpco.com.
